Serviz Group - one of the leading hanger companies of Europe - is focusing on new international objectives in 2009 and achieving important global results in terms of market share and "servicing" textile groups in Asia. One of the most remarkable "landmarks" of 2008 has been the establishment of partnership agreement with one of the most "prestigious" hanger groups of Hong Kong and China (MTH Hanger Group). 

Kevin Sigliano provides insight to Serviz's strategy and roadmap. 

 

How would you describe Serviz experience in Asia ?

Serviz has been cautious in its initial approach (2006 - 2008) towards Asia. It has been especially careful in selecting the BEST partners and providing TOP RANGE solutions to its global clients. In the third quarter of 2008, Serviz group was able to start operating in China with maximum guarantees and a reliable partner. Serviz group is 100% confident of its capacities in terms of product and service. Our clients are "marveled" by our capacities to provide hanger solutions in tightest of time frames and develop the most sophisticated hangers (plastic and wood).

What are key drivers to success ?

Serviz's drivers to success have been "collaboration and more collaboration" with partners and clients. In addition, Serviz has been able to "sell" its capacities in an effective manner. The road has been long, and there have been many changes in the hanger industry. Today's reality is very positive with TOP clients onboard, new moulds, and the shortest time to market of this industry.

What is the balance of the Asian adventure ?

Serviz has been able to sell 160% more than the 2008 budget, and the 2009 forecast is 250% over the yearly "prevision" of 2008. There are numerous large accounts on board, and we expect to WIN two of the most important european accounts in the second quarter of 2009. In addition, Serviz is servicing smaller accounts with great results. Margins are very tight in Asia however it is a necessary "market" in today's global hanger industry.
